In the wake of teenagers fighting for the environment across the world, The Times of India wished to tap into the spirit, energy and love for the planet of the country’s young guns. They created the ‘TOI Young Change Leaders Contest’, a platform to assist school students in not only voicing their opinions about the current ecological scenario, but also to establish themselves as a TOI Young Change Leader. The platform provided students with the opportunity to interact with an esteemed panel comprising eminent environmentalists, journalists, celebrities and people deeply involved with the cause.
The Yellow Compass was brought onboard for Social Media Marketing, amplifying the contest and bringing in entries, media buying and spending, as well as on ground coverage of the grand finale event. We also created a roundup video, highlighting the messages from India’s Young Change Leaders.
